Knuckles Lightening Serum – 10ml
What is it?
A fast and effective dark knuckles lightening serum meant to clear up dark knuckles
Ingredients:
Aqua/Water/Eau, Allantoin, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Glycerin, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium PCA, Methanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Clobetasol Propionate, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Extract, Butlene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol.
How to use :
- Take a before pic for your own personal comparison. At times it is hard to see the minor changes and progress until you compare your before picture and your current picture. Take both pictures in the same spot and same lighting for a more accurate personal comparison. Then after one month put the two pictures side by side on your phone and compare. That is the best way to see/look for changes.
- Apply several times throughout the day. Make sure you apply 3 times a day at the very least. If possible, wash your hands before each application to avoid interference with dirt, dust sweat, oil etc. Or at least use a wet wipe to wipe your hands first. In general, skincare products work best on clean dry skin.
- At night, after application, you can apply oil on your hands and wear gloves. This will speed up the process and you will get results faster. Make sure the serum is completely dry on the knuckles before applying oil and gloves. It is not a must to wear the gloves at night but it is highly recommended for fast results.
- Exfoliate your knuckles 4 times a week preferably at night. You can increase to daily gentle exfoliation based on how your skin behaves. Key word been gentle. Also, we HIGHLY recommend physical exfoliation and NOT exfoliation with acids. We recommend you use a body scrub. This serum pairs perfectly with the shixglow dead skin salt skin lightening scrub, although you can use any other scrub of your choice. This exfoliation step is a MUST!!! Otherwise, you will not see results.
- This serum is a water like thin serum and it is made that way so as to penetrate into your skin faster. Once the serum has dried up, make sure you moisturise your hands with a hand cream/ butter or your skin lightening cream. Make sure your skin lightening cream has no acids and no hydroquione.
- During the day you MUST use a sunscreen after applying the serum. Any SPF 50 and above sunscreen will do.
- Apply the serum on the dark knuckles ONLY. Do not apply on the whole finger. Apply only on the dark parts. This is very IMPORTANT.
- This serum is very strong and is meant for knuckles ONLY.
- Store in a cool dark place. Do not store in a hot place e.g. car dashboard because the intense heat may damage the active ingredients and render the serum useless.
- Be consistent. If you are skipping some days, you will not get results.
- Do not apply on fresh wounds/cuts or irritated skin.
- As with any other skincare product, in case of any irritation, redness or discomfort while using the product, stop using it immediately and seek medical help if it escalates.
